What this site is

Match Time is a football news site. We cover the top five European leagues, the European club competitions and the internationals: team news, transfers, the matches worth watching, how the betting markets read them, and longer pieces that explain the game to people who are new to it. We write in plain English for ordinary readers.

Who owns it

Match Time is owned by Checkraise Ltd, a company with the same owners as BettingBeast. We say this plainly because it matters: when an article links to odds, the link goes to BettingBeast, and BettingBeast is run by the same people who run this site. We do not take advertising, we do not run affiliate links to any other company, and nobody pays us to write about them.

What BettingBeast is

BettingBeast is a betting broker: one account that places bets into 16+ bookmakers and exchanges. It is a separate website with its own terms, licence and restrictions. This site does not take bets, hold money or open accounts. If you follow an odds link, you leave this site.

Who is responsible

The responsible editor is Mikael Thuritz. Articles are written with the help of an AI system working from cited sources, and checked against those sources before and after publication. How that works, and what we do when we get something wrong, is set out on How we produce content and Corrections.
